Since 1963, the Hinsdale Assembly has funded a variety of worthy causes for the Hinsdale Hospital, proudly raising over $3.5 million.

For more than 60 years, the Hinsdale Assembly  has proudly supported the Hinsdale Hospital Foundation through dedicated fundraising and service to our community.  With the loyal support of our members and community, we have helped fund state-of-the-art medical equipment and vital hospital initiatives, including most recently the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, St. Thomas Hospice Bereavement Camps, the Cancer Institute, the Third Floor Surgical Center, the Wellness Garden, digital mammography initiatives, and behavioral health services.

Guided by a five-point star representing community service, fundraising, family, friendship and etiquette, the Hinsdale Assembly is committed to strengthening our hospital and serving our community through meaningful service projects, which we hope will ensure compassionate care for generations to come.

Making A Difference

Our Story

Helping and Learning through Community Service
The participating young adults work together on several community service projects throughout their year with Hinsdale Assembly. Past projects have included such varied initiatives as clearing invasive plants at local forest preserves, assisting at the Hinsdale Community Services Food Pantry, playing Bingo with seniors at Bethlehem Woods Retirement Community, and cheering up children whose lives have been affected by cancer with a joint project with the Wellness House. These young adults learn their passion and power through helping others and supporting our communities.

Creating Memories

Hinsdale Assembly also celebrates family and friends through special events such as the Three Generation Tea, Father Daughter Waltz, and class bonding activities. The year culminates in celebration with the magical Hinsdale Assembly Ball on December 23rd every year.
